I have always loved elestials, they have such a powerful smooth energy. I was traveling over the last month through the south east US and I found a very wonderful new friend who is in a flea market and he sells stones.
Well, he had a boxes and boxes of unidentified stones and I just happened to find a box of HUGE elestials, these stones are all over 1 lb. and most are closer to 3 lb. They are the most amazing stones ! I bought 4 of them , just couldn't resist !
I continued looking and I then found a box full of rough Larimar! I asked him where this came from since it is so hard to find now and he told me that an old friend of his had recently passed and he was a collector so he just bought the entire collection. The larimar pieces ranged from about 1/2 - 5 lbs.!
I bought a few of these too!
Sometimes stones come into my life in the strangest ways,hope that there are other people out there with odd ways that they have stumbled over stones.......

yes and it is a lovely stone.....some of these stones have been ground down into "bricks" and the story behind them is that they were taken from a ruin that was being torn down and the walls were made of these bricks. Interesting but doubtful :)

Well, there are 5 pieces that are "slabbed", the workmanship doesn't look like anything I have ever seen before and I have spent years in the jewelry industry and around cutting shops. the bricks are very smooth and the grey matrix is intertwined with the sky blue larimar. Most of the pieces have more sky blue veining then matrix. They are very powerful, I have other pieces that don't ( seem to )vibrate as high as those, I will work on getting a pic of them and posting it up here.
I have used the brick in sessions because I had a client ask for that one after seeing it. I usually keep at least one piece on my altar as well. I have also used it to set other stones on as if I were cleaning them, I know Larimar isn't known for cleaning other stones but these pieces seem to work well with some stones, just not all.
